Fall Treasures

Choose a quiet spot for your fall collection — a table, a blanket beneath a tree, or a cozy corner indoors. Somewhere the children can settle in, look closely, and take their time.

Place a piece of fabric or a small blanket underneath, then arrange your fall treasures on top. Add the printed photographs (cut the pages in half), the Fall Color Finder, and the Little Acorn Game board with a few collected acorns.

A small standing mirror can be a lovely addition, too. Place it among the treasures and let the children use it to look at leaves, acorns, and other finds from below or from an unusual angle. Sometimes a small change in perspective is enough to make something familiar feel new.

There is no need to rush or finish anything. Leave the collection out for a while and let the children return to it, rearrange their treasures, play the Little Acorn Game, and explore whenever they feel like it.
