Summer in Linden Land

Paper Tale No. 2

Summer is warm, and there is a lot to do. Berries are ready to be picked, and herbs grow thick along the paths. Alva gathers berries but always eats a few along the way. Bram carries baskets and builds what is needed, though he sometimes makes things a bit sturdier than necessary, just to be sure. Nori walks later in the day, when the sun is low. Fireflies flicker here and there, and he often pauses to watch them before lighting the lantern.

Print on sturdy paper (or glue onto cardboard after printing). Cut in the white space between the solid line and each character or prop, then fold along the dashed lines. Use the paper stands provided, or attach a popsicle stick to the side or top of the plain characters to move them around the theatre. Use the paper stands for the props. Tape the summer background inside your theatre with removable tape so you can easily change the seasons whenever you like.
