Little Sorting Tray
A Little Lightfolk Craft
A simple activity for slowing down, looking closely, and noticing small differences in the natural world. An egg carton becomes a little sorting tray, with each section painted a different color. Children can then sort nature finds by color or take the tray outside and see what they can find to match each section. This is more of an activity than a craft. Adults prepare the tray, then children take over and do the exploring, sorting, and collecting.
