Woodland Still

A woodland still is a picture made from nature treasures. Not with paint. Not with pencils. With leaves. Twigs. Feathers. Pebbles. Moss. Seed pods. Tiny mysterious things that somehow end up in your pockets. You arrange them on a plain background like a little woodland artwork—calm, wild, messy, beautiful, funny, or very serious. There is no correct way to make one. Some woodland stills look like tiny forests. Some look like dragon maps. Some look like “a squirrel exploded politely.” All of them count.
