Forest Dragonfly
Turn a simple stick and coffee filter into a colorful little dragonfly. The watercolor spreads beautifully through the filter paper, while the stick gives the dragonfly a sturdy body for flying through the garden, forest, or living room.
Coffee filters make especially nice craft wings because the thin paper lets watercolor flow and blend easily. Every dragonfly will end up a little different. If you make several, try giving each one a different wing pattern and see which colors look like they belong together.
